Cinnamon is one of the most common and comforting spices around. If you have a kitchen, then you probably have a shaker of cinnamon sitting in the cupboard. Cinnamon is proving to be a spice that not only adds flavor to various dishes but can also cure many infections and diseases. Cinnamon face mask removes acne, acne scars, wrinkles etc. Cinnamon is also considered to be effective for hair problems. It prevents hair fall, removes dandruff etc. There are many benefits of cinnamon for the face.

How to apply



  • Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth paste and apply on cleansed face and neck.

  • Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.

  • Citric acid present in lemon acts as a natural chemical peel to rid acne. It has an acidic property that eliminates excess oil. The combination of Honey and Cinnamon is perfect for getting rid of acne.

  • Note: If you have sensitive skin, leave out or dilute the lemon. If you leave it out add a bit more honey to make the mixture paste-y. This is a mask and not to be used to exfoliate your skin. It’ll hurt if you try!

  • PAPAIN in papaya is a protein-dissolving enzyme that is a natural acne fighter. It is very effective in skin renewal and skin lightening and gives glowing skin also. It functions as an exfoliator, skin softener and moisturizer. This enzyme helps the body combat free radicals, thus preventing premature aging. Vitamin C present in papaya reduces the appearance of brown spots and other types of sun damage.


Notes



  • Don’t use this mask on a sensitive, inflamed or eczema-prone skin, or if you have fragile capillaries on your face.
